Community Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community engagement strategies to cultivate an active and vibrant community across multiple channels, including Discord and Twitter primarily
- Engage with new and future community members on a daily basis, serving as primary point of contact for community members - addressing inquiries, feedback, comments, and investigating member technical product/UX issues in a timely and professional manner
- Lead a small global team of moderators and volunteers - overseeing engagement, schedules, team growth, and implementing Discord moderation and security best practices to maintain a welcoming and safe community environment
- Craft Discord announcements, social media posts, and community event calendars, to drive engagement and foster meaningful interactions within the community
- Work with marketing team to plan and host virtual events and initiatives, such as AMAs and calls to educate, increase brand awareness, and connect with community members
- Compose comprehensive WikiHow->
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and development teams to align community initiatives with company objectives and roadmap
- Monitor community sentiment and feedback, identify trends, and assess data points from analytic tools to gather actionable recommendations for improvements and opportunities; reporting incredible stories that come from our community
- Keep an eye on emerging market trends and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making, best practices, and optimize output
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in community management, preferably within the blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFT/Web3 or online space.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for building positive relationships and fostering community engagement.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative strategies and tactics to engage and retain community members.
