About the Role:
Huddle01 is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building features, tools, and scalable architecture together with team and strategize for the long term vision and roadmap of our architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with development teams to scale video conferencing to masses, optimise the performance and reduce latency.
- Build best practices to improve the current API workflow
- Build micro-services to support new functionality.
- Work with development teams to ensure that code is properly instrumented for monitoring and logging.
- Work closely with the media and the infra team to optimise the performance and reduce the latency of our API framework.
- Help us scale our current micro-service framework to support a multi cloud, multi region environment.
- Mentor and hire Junior Developers.
- Ensure that our customer’s experience is the best it can be. You might have to interact with the dev team of our clients.
What will make you stand out:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Well versed with typescript.
- You are intensely curious and passionate about the prospect of diving deep into multiple technologies, platforms, and problem spaces, even if they are currently unfamiliar.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in WebRTC, Protocols like RTP/RTCP, STUN and audio/video quality metrics will be a huge plus.
- Open to work on constructive feedback and proactively shares the same with peers.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
