Aquanow is looking for a Blockchain Engineer to join our technology team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team and contribute to the development of a high-growth trading and technology company.

As a Blockchain Engineer, you will oversee the blockchain infrastructure that power our core business functions. You will create services that optimize the company’s interactions with public blockchain networks.

What you will be doing

  • Develop pilot projects that will evaluate the applicability of specific blockchain technologies
  • Conduct research and lead discovery for use cases that help us to understand specific blockchain implementations
  • Work with development team to share findings and provide recommendations for the integration of blockchain technologies
  • Launch and optimize node operations across various blockchain networks What you will need to succeed
  • Strong understanding of blockchain architecture and how protocols work
  • Experience developing smart contracts and decentralized applications
  • Hands on DevOps experience to build and launch validator nodes
  • Expertise with at least one server-side programming language and framework (e.g. Java, Node.js, Golang)
  • Knowledge of GIT or other version control software
  • Value team work and encourage collaboration
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
