About Story Protocol

Story Protocol aims to grow the creativity of the internet. The internet has introduced revolutionary new methods of developing and distributing creative work: endless remixing, participatory franchises, and AI generated content. However, our current intellectual property infrastructure works against the openness of the internet instead of embracing it. Story Protocol is building an IP infrastructure optimized for the internet era.

Story is the Programmable IP layer built for the age of AI. We transform IP into networks that transcend mediums and platforms, unlocking global creativity and liquidity.

Our team features deep expertise in media, tech, and business. Founding team members are successful serial entrepreneurs. We are fortunate to have raised over $54m, most recently in a Series A led by a16z.

Requirements

    • Strong operational and business background, with at least two years of full time experience in consulting, strategy, or business operations in the software industry
    • Experience with market and industry research, in particular the preparation of reports on market structure, competitive differentiation, distribution channels, and key individuals
    • Excels at organization and communication in fast-paced environments with stakeholders across engineering, product, marketing, and leadership
    • Ability to learn technical concepts and new industries/verticals rapidly and independently
    • Experience in crypto preferred but not required, interest in crypto is a must

What do you do in a strategy job?

A strategy job typically involves identifying opportunities for growth and development for a company or organization, as well as developing plans to achieve those objectives

Depending on the specific role and industry, a strategy job might involve tasks such as market research, analyzing data, identifying trends and patterns, formulating business plans and proposals, forecasting revenue and expenses, identifying risks and opportunities, and communicating recommendations to senior management

Some examples of specific strategy jobs might include business strategy, marketing strategy, product strategy, corporate strategy, and operations strategy

In each of these areas, the primary goal is to develop a comprehensive plan that will help the company achieve its goals and objectives, while minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities

This might involve working with other departments within the organization, as well as external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, and industry experts

In addition to these specific tasks, a strategy job often requires strong analytical skills, creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and collaboration skills

Successful strategy professionals must be able to work well with others, develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, and effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
