Role Overview
We are seeking a Strategy Director to join Crypto.com, and play a critical role in helping us make important strategic decisions. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of relevant work experience (e.g., from strategy consulting), has passion about crypto, and is a good people leader. This role is based in Hong Kong, but we are open to candidates from other locations who can accommodate Hong Kong working hours.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop strategic plans that are data-driven and aligned with the company's goals across different verticals of the crypto industry and general fintech industry;
    • Work effectively with internal teams and external partners to implement strategic initiatives;
    • Recommend product pricing, such as fees to charge or rewards to offer, and monitor P&L to ensure we are building sustainably, or adjust our pricing strategy where applicable;
    • Perform data analysis on our user & products, identify trends or gaps, and recommend improvements;
    • Assist with strategic partnerships and investments as appropriate;
    • Manage or mentor junior members of the strategy team;
    • Be a role model of having a “founder’s mentality” with strong ownership.

Required qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or above;
    • Based in Hong Kong or able to accommodate working hours of Hong Kong (GMT+8);
    • Strong interest in the blockchain/ crypto industry, with good knowledge of DeFi being a strong plus;
    • Prefer candidates with 5-7 years of work experience in a relevant industry (e.g., management consulting) and has managed teams;
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint;
    • (Plus but not required) Familiarity with Tableau, SQL and/or Python for data analysis.
