Hello Sunshine is seeking a highly talented Director of Strategy for Sol.ar, a story-led social agency built upon Hello Sunshineâs expertise in premium, quality storytelling and a deep understanding of the female consumer. Sol.ar creates audience-first, platform-specific immersive experiences at the center of content, community and commerce that uniquely empower brands to tell stories that drive impact, create culture and deeply connect with consumers.
We are seeking a strategy leader who can bring strategic insight to life as the foundation of branded content and experiences that delight customers, change business and shape culture.
This position is available in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and synthesize consumer/audience, category, cultural and brand insights that will be used to build strategic content and marketing plans for clients that ladder up to larger brand or franchise positioning and goals.
- Oversee the development of innovative multi-channel, integrated campaign, brand, content and social engagement strategies to drive success and impact for brand clients across all categories.
- Analyze clientâs social content across platforms, complete competitive research and landscape analysis to build go-forward content and campaign plans.
- Utilize tools and social listening to build audience intelligence and personas for clientâs social content and campaigns.
- Pinpoint opportunity areas and develop positioning for creative, multichannel content pillars, channel strategy, ecosystem design, editorial programming, measurement frameworks, high-level paid media recommendations, engagement strategy tactics, commerce tactics, talent/influencer or partner engagement tactics.
- Guide development of all strategy outputs including social audits and playbooks.
- Collaborate with cross-department team members and effectively partner with business development, creative, social, integrated marketing, experiential, media and others during various phases of a project.
- Bring thought-leadership with deep understanding of multi-channel customer experiences, cultural and audience trends, industry news and emerging consumer channels (i.e. AR/VR, NFT, Web3, Metaverse, etc)
- 10+ yearsâ experience leading multi-channel and multi-media strategy efforts with experience working on brand and content strategy projects and creative campaigns
- Proven track record for being a self-starter, solution-oriented strategic thinker, and creative collaborator
- A strong appetite for thought leadership and information on audiences and subcultures, new technology, emerging platforms and technologies, social content and pop culture.
- Client-first, relationship-oriented leader with relationships with Fortune 500 brands
- High performing leader with reputation for effectively managing high-performing strategy teams
- Customer-obsessed executive who keeps the focus on the most impactful way to engage, grow, and identify new client opportunities
