The IT Support Engineer role is an exciting opportunity to be the founding member of Sorare's IT Team. We are looking for an IT support engineer to assess our current systems and assets, while participating in the definition of the IT strategy & leadership. You will have an impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations while delivering exceptional services to improve our Employee Experience overall.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage computer and phone for all users
  • Work closely with the People organization to anticipate and prepare IT on/off boarding
  • Perform system and network administration tasks
  • Manage incidents and solve hardware and software malfunctions (remotely and on site)
  • Contribute in the definition and implementation of the IT infrastructure, architecture and process strategy for our New York Office.
  • Contribute in the strategy and roadmap for Sorare to develop best-in-class IT processes and controls
  • Understand, design for hyper-scale and provide technical solutions to user requests
  • Conduct regular system audits in our New York Office.
  • Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups

Requirements
  • 3-6+ years as an IT support engineer or relevant experience
  • Modern vision and approach of IT management (G Suite, Cloud, SaaS, Okta, Jamf,...)
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems (MacOS, Windows, Logitech)
  • Able to contribute to a vision and execute projects autonomously
  • Comfortable functioning as a confirmed-level individual contributor as well as working cross-functionally across different time zones
  • Hands-on experience with network administration.
  • Experience handling challenging IT projects in a fast growing start up
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
