Marketing Director – Ads, Influencers, Email campaigns

The Job

• Define our strategic roadmap for paid media, influencers, and email
• Work in lockstep with product leadership to support release schedules
• Source, plan and manage the work and deliverables of marketing outsource vendors
• Determine budget and manage execution of Ad buying across all platforms
• Direct and manage email campaigns
• Select, negotiate, and deliver a game-streaming influencer program Report ROAS and manage improvements on this KPI over time
• Develop and achieve marketing OKRs that align to the broader business goals
• Hire additional staff and vendors as needed

Expertise in the following:

• Giving creative input on Ad content, aligning Ads with product reality
• Directing external marketing experts, including brand alignment and technical specs
• Executing and optimizing Google Ad platform campaigns
• Conducting and optimizing FAN campaigns
• Executing and optimizing additional Ad platforms (Twitter, Snapchat, more)
• Running successful email marketing campaigns
• Driving a successful influencer streaming campaign in games
• Managing people and leading teams
• 5 years in the video game industry
• Demonstrable experience and knowledge in scrum/agile/Kanban
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Proven results successfully marketing video game launch
• A portfolio demonstrating your work marketing at a high-quality level, awards won are a plus
• An interest and experience in blockchain or cryptocurrency
• BA or greater in Marketing or relevant field
• Office365 and Google Suite proficiency
• A mindset of continuous improvement; humble and ambitious
• Prior experience in a startup environment or small business
• Adaptable, with a good sense of humor
