About The Foundation For Art & Blockchain

The Foundation for Art and Blockchain (”FAB”) was the world’s first non-profit formed to elevate the roles of artists and content creators in the blockchain space. We are looking to hire a passionate individual with a track record of working with or running non-profits and supporting artist initiatives. Experience with community building and/or fundraising is a major plus.

What you will do

You will be the primary manager of FAB, responsible for all day-to-day operations, staff, and finances. This is a leadership role and an opportunity to shape the future of an organization with a long history (relative to the crypto space) and strong brand. You’ll wear many hats, eventually manage a team, and run the organization.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day of the organization, including P&L and team.
• Strategic planning and implementation of campaigns.
• Planning and managing annual budget.
• Recruit, hire and manage team-members.
• Report to and work closely with the Board of Directors to seek their involvement in policy decisions, fundraising and to increase the overall visibility of the organization.
• Establish and maintain relationships with various organizations to strategically enhance The FAB’s Mission.
• Engage in fundraising and develop fundraising programs.
• Oversee marketing and other communications efforts.
• Oversee Board and committee meetings.
• Establishing employment and administrative policies and procedures for all functions and for the day-to-day operation of the nonprofit.
• Review and approve contracts for services.
• Other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.

Ideal Background

We're open, as long as you're passionate about Art and NFTs and and/or want a future in it. You may have been a consultant, worked in finance, project manager, chief of staff, director at a nonprofit, business operations manager in the art world, or perhaps an entrepreneur in your past and now want to delve deeper into the blockchain art world.

In particular, we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or beyond.
• At least several years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated passion for the arts space.
• Experience managing people and comfort working as a player-coach.
• Strong belief in the future of the NFT space.
• Experience executing marketing campaigns
• Experience with fundraising.
• Strong initiative and independence
