Duties:
We are searching for a talented, Lead Tokenomics Specialist to launch and scale our newly forming Tokenomics function at Shardeum. In this role you will:
- Conduct comprehensive research on blockchain tokenomics, including: token design, distribution mechanisms, governance structures and economic incentives.
- Design and develop tokenomics models tailored to specific use cases and applications, considering factors such as network scalability, security, and decentralization.
- Model and calculate token financials, sensitivity, transaction amounts, supply, etc.
- Monitor network health, and develop strategies to ensure the stability of the system.
- Optimize token economies through quantitative analysis, simulation modeling, and empirical research.
- Contribute to the development of whitepapers, technical documentation, and educational resources to communicate tokenomics concepts and principles effectively.
- Create and maintain relationships with staking providers.
Must Haves:
- Proven expertise in blockchain technology and tokenomics - a focus on L1/L2 blockchain network protocols is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to make informed decisions and optimize token economies.
- Experience developing end-to-end tokenomics strategies.
- Experience developing reports and making recommendations to leadership.
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
