Wormhole Labs is a technology company that specializes in building multi-blockchain software at the intersection of platform and applications. We build the widely used Portal bridging application, and contribute to the Wormhole cross-chain messaging protocol, which has secured over 1B messages and $60B of token transfers.

We are hiring our first Engineering Manager to lead and scale multiple teams of senior engineers. You'll partner closely with the founders, product, and design to rapidly build and iterate on revenue-generating products.

What you will do

• Build trust with one engineering team and ramp up to a second.

• Grow teams to meet customer and product demand.

• Directly influence product roadmap and contribute to technology strategy.

• Define and improve engineering processes.

• Establish best practices for using LLM coding tools.

The ideal candidate will

• Have 5+ years of leading consumer product engineering teams.

• Have experience mentoring staff & principal-level engineers.

• Be high agency and proactively drive the outcomes they wish to see.

• Be fluent with Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, although equivalent practical experience will also be taken into consideration.
