As the Senior SMM Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact social media strategies that resonate with a tech-savvy Web3 audience. You will manage and grow our social media channels, ensuring alignment with our brand’s voice, values, and community engagement. This role requires a creative mindset, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in the Web3 space, including blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and DAOs.
Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Create and manage a comprehensive strategy across platforms (Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn, etc.) with a focus on Web3 trends and community building
- Keep up with blockchain, crypto, NFTs, DAOs, and DeFi developments, and integrate these into strategy
- Plan and execute data-driven social media campaigns for brand initiatives, product launches, partnerships, and events
Content Creation & Execution
- Craft engaging and educational content tailored to Web3 audiences (posts, threads, memes, visuals), in collaboration with content teams
Community Engagement & Relationship Building
- Actively monitor and engage with the Web3 community—responding to queries, facilitating discussions, and managing conversations to foster trust
- Identify and collaborate with influencers, thought leaders, and key Web3 players to boost reach and authority
Analytics & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Track and analyze key social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize performance
- Work closely with marketing, product, and community teams to ensure alignment with broader goals
Experience Required
- 3+ years in Social Media Marketing, including 2+ years specifically in Web3, blockchain, or crypto industries
- Proven track record managing and growing social media channels (Twitter, Discord, Telegram, etc.) for Web3 projects or startups
- Demonstrated success in running data-driven social media campaigns
- Experience in community management and building online communities
- Familiarity with influencer marketing in the Web3 space
