As a Junior Software Engineer, you will focus on the maintenance and creation of various products that provide insights and analytics to our users. You will work with a variety of technologies, primarily Python and JavaScript, and contribute to our cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work on exciting applications within crypto including but not limited to blockchain node deployment, on-chain analytics, and software development for internal and external products
- Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize data and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement new features.
- Write clean, maintainable code in Python and JavaScript.
- Manage and deploy applications on AWS and GCP.
- Work on exciting applications within crypto including but not limited to blockchain node deployment and on-chain software development
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Assist in database management and SQL query development.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements / Skill Sets
- Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and GCP.
- Good to Have:
- Knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React, etc.).
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Bachelor degree in any discipline. Master degree preferred.
- Passion for blockchain and solid understanding of NFTs, DAOs, GameFi, DeFi, and other emerging trends.
- Ability to work well in a fluid, changing environment in the innovative and often-ambiguous field of blockchain.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to align a diverse group of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities.
