Mirror is hiring a community manager to help facilitate the growth of the Mirror ecosystem and its transition into a fully autonomous DAO.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
- Creating content around events and activities happening in the Mirror member community
- Moderating Discord and potentially advising our members with using the Mirror tools
- Finding new and novel ways to improve the Discord experience, either through existing tools or suggesting new ones (which our team can help build)
- Helping new community members navigate the Mirror ecosystem, specifically the $WRITE race and interactions with our economic blocks.
- Managing updates on Mirror's Twitter and Discord announcement channels
Requirements
- Previous experience managing online community channels
- You are familiar with the Discord platform, and how to manage permissions/channels/roles
- You are organized in tracking and surfacing questions and common pain points from the community to the rest of the team
- Bias towards action and getting things done. When you can’t get them done, you know how to work with the team/community to get what you need.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with facilitating governance proposals and community discussion
- Experience with setting up working groups or committees, and working with them on improving various parts of the community
- Experience with setting up or managing live discussions, podcasts, and writing content.
- Curiosity in Web3 through previous roles or activities.
