JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Social Media Specialist to join our team at Blokhaus. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be tasked with interacting and engaging with targeted social communities on a regular basis. You will help develop and implement our social media strategies and work to enhance our online presence through continuous engagement and targeted social content campaigns. You will also be tasked with maintaining and coordinating a social content calendar for all social channels, and closely collaborating with a Social Media agency on a day-to-day basis to ensure a regular content cadence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and execute our social media campaigns through audience identification, benchmarking, competitive research and platform determination.
• Develop, edit, publish and share content, for example, unique posts, pictures or video on a regular basis.
• Build the visibility of the brand on all social media platforms.
• Create and maintain a social content calendar for all posts, and routinely review with stakeholders to ensure tone and messaging alignment with the brand.
• Analyze social metrics and provide weekly reports with insights to help guide content strategy.

REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for emerging tech (AI, Web3, blockchain / crypto).
• Proven 3+ years of work experience as a Social Media Specialist
• Excellent knowledge of Social Media Marketing channels - Twitter, Reddit, Telegram, Discord, Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, and others
• Excellent content writing skills.
• Basic knowledge of photo and video editing.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Self-starter with an ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
• Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
