Newton team members are spread out across Canada within a fully-remote capacity.

As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for: • Creating content in the voice of the brand that has an emphasis on UX, converting potential users to users • Supporting the SEO team’s content initiatives by owning the content production for product and crypto-related content • Providing insight into our website messaging and how it can be improved • Messaging stakeholders, researching and gathering data to support your content • Collaborating with a fast-moving team, in a stimulating and ever-evolving environment that prioritizes autonomy and professionalism over micromanagement

Must Haves • Has a mastery of the English language • Gets excited about what is going on in the crypto space and being in the driver seat to write about it  • Deep understanding of crypto and has experience writing crypto-related content • Has excellent written and oral communications skills for collaborating in a remote environment • Has exceptional organization skills and attention to detail, reliable, self-motivated and takes the initiative to start work and meet deadlines • Can manage and prioritize their projects and deadlines independently

Skills • 3-5 years minimum of copywriting experience working as a copywriter at an in-house or agency writing team • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience • Takes a user-first approach to how content is written and presented • Understand UX principles and what messaging engages users • Experience with Google Suite products like Google Sheets and Google Docs
