What you’ll be responsible for:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Engagement Manager to lead our efforts in nurturing and expanding our global developer community as we expand our reach through LATAM. As the Community Engagement Manager, you report directly to the Director of Community and will play a pivotal role in building a thriving, inclusive, and active community of developers interested in USDC and our Web3 Suite of Services. Work with the Director of Community to foster a strong sense of community, facilitating discussions, and driving engagement across various platforms, including creating an engagement plan specifically for our Discord community.

What you'll work on:

  • Community Management: Overseeing the day-to-day management of the community, including monitoring discussions, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and efficiently. Ensure a positive user experience and maintain a respectful and inclusive community atmosphere. Demonstrating ability to follow clear objectives, KPIs, and action plans set forth by the Director of Community, to measure the success of community engagement efforts.
  • Discord Engagement Plan: Executing an engagement plan for our Discord community, set forth by the Director of Community, to ensure active participation, vibrant discussions, and a strong sense of belonging among community members.
  • Content Creation and Curation Support: Collaborating with the Director to identify developers, capturing content and collaborating with the product team to develop compelling and relevant content that resonates with the community. Support on overall curation and promote user-generated content to encourage active participation and community contributions.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Working closely with the Community and Ecosystem Growth Directors to plan and execute community events, both virtual and physical, that align with the community’s interests and needs. Ensure events are engaging, well-coordinated, and successful.
  • Community Growth and Advocacy: Implementing strategies to attract and onboard new developers to the community. Foster relationships with key influencers, partners, and industry stakeholders to advocate for the community and drive collaboration opportunities.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilizing analytics tools, such as CommonRoom, to measure the effectiveness of community engagement initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on community growth, engagement trends, and areas for improvement.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

  • Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience with 2+ years of experience in community management or engagement roles in the cryptocurrency or blockchain space. Demonstrated success in building and growing vibrant online communities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Technical/Developer Experience: 2+ years of experience in web3 development
  • Hands-on development experience: 2+ years of experience with coding in web3. You know your way around at least one programming language and have no problem writing and executing sample code
  • Strong Leadership: Previous experience in leading a community engagement team with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards shared goals.
  • Passion for Cryptocurrency and Blockchain: A deep interest and understanding of the crypto space, digital currencies, and decentralized finance. Knowledge of USDC and its applications is a strong plus.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and interact with community members.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to leverage insights to inform decision-making and optimize community engagement strategies.
  • Global Perspective: Experience in engaging with a diverse, international audience. Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to cater to the needs of a global community.
  • Bilingual: Fluency in English and Spanish required, Portuguese a strong plus.

Circle is on a mission to create an inclusive financial future, with transparency at our core. We consider a wide variety of elements when crafting our compensation ranges and total compensation packages.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range: $122,500 - $162,500

Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%

Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy. We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
