The Data Analytics Team at Flipside Crypto is looking for a Data Analyst to help us build out our suite of analytics products.

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with a passion for blockchain technology and a knack for translating complex data into meaningful insights. This role requires experience analyzing blockchain protocols, particularly within the EVM, IBC, Solana, or other alternative layer 1 blockchain ecosystems. Familiarity with Flipside or a similar blockchain analytics platform is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills and a collaborative mindset, capable of interfacing effectively with clients and internal team members.

**This role will be fully remote and off-shore, international candidates are also encouraged to apply!**



As a Data Analyst at Flipside Crypto, you will:

  • Analyze and interpret complex onchain data from various blockchains and protocols
  • Write SQL or other querying code to extract and manipulate data from database systems to create reports and data visualizations using proprietary Flipside applications
  • Create compelling data visualizations that convey clear insights to users
  • Ensure accuracy of data builds through testing and validation of underlying logic via external sources
  • Act as a point of contact for data-related questions, interfacing with clients both in our Discord community and among our enterprise clients
  • Collaborate closely with internal data team members to ensure data accuracy and resolve issues efficiently
  • Conduct thorough research on blockchain protocols, reading and interpreting protocol documentation
  • Translate protocol documentation into efficient SQL queries for internal and client use
  • Become an expert on customer blockchain projects and serve as the main point of contact for data questions
  • Stay updated on the latest blockchain technologies and protocol developments

You are a fit if:

  • You possess a strong analytical background that includes 2+ years of experience working with complex blockchain data sets
  • You are have experience working with and are a subject matter expert with blockchain data
  • You are passionate about blockchains and have a public wallet with 18+ months of activity across multiple blockchain ecosystems, including but not limited to EVM, IBC, Solana, NEAR, Flow or other alternative layer 1 ecosystems.
  • You are self directed and capable of driving projects forward to meet deadlines
  • You thrive with ambiguity and are able to switch contexts or priorities based on the team’s needs
  • You have great communication skills (verbal and written) and are able to present your ideas to a wide audience of varying technical skills
  • You have a strong background in writing complex and efficient SQL (Snowflake, Athena, Hive, Postgres, SQL Server)
  • Are familiar with ETL pipelining tools like DBT
  • You have an analytical mindset with a great statistics or financial background
