Lead, Trading & Brokerage Compliance
Technical Skills:
- Brings strong subject expertise in trading and prime brokerage compliance, including CFTC and swaps, evolving cryptocurrency regulations, and brokerage operations. And experience in building programs that comply with regulations.
- Internally recognized as an influential leader and a reference in Anchorage Digital, and is involved in the development of Anchorage’s strategic direction in trading and brokerage.
- Has knowledge and ability to lead discussions with regulators such as FINRA, SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, DFPI and U.S. financial market regulators and agencies.
- Applies regulatory knowledge to business practices and can build out a compliance framework around evolving regulatory guidance in the crypto space.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Designs, develops, and implements strategic compliance programs and controls across multiple Anchorage entities and businesses.
- Demonstrates the ability to lead and function effectively in a rapidly changing business and uncertain regulatory environment.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Plays a leading role in groups/forums that define the long-term trading and brokerage compliance strategy and value proposition of Anchorage.

- Presents trading compliance reports to senior management, boards, and external stakeholders such as regulators and licensing authorities. - Able to perform attentive and active listening, to speak and empathize with others at all grades, adapting the speech to the audience, both internally and externally, applied to small or big audiences.

- You have crypto regulation experience.
- You have securities, futures, and derivatives market experience with the ability to provide thought leadership.
- You have experience building out trading and prime brokerage (including swaps) compliance programs and experience interfacing with regulators.
- You have a Series 24 license.
- You have experience working in a fast-paced environment and a focus on delivering results.
- You have excellent verbal and communication skills.
