About the institutions team:
The OKX Institutions team is a global group that distributes crypto financial technologies and liquidity to crypto native and traditional financial (TradFi) institutions. A select list of the core institutional products and services includes: spot and derivative exchange orderbook, OTC Liquid Marketplace, structured products, managed accounts and systematic risk management solutions such as portfolio margin. Our client coverage segments are expansive, including: trading firms, asset managers, hedgefunds, HNWI, market markers, payment providers and financial intermediaries.
Requirements:
The Expertise/Qualities We’re Looking For
  • A crisp and engaging writer – Excellent written skills. You will need to submit a sample research piece.
  • A creative and independent thinker – You must be an analytical thinker, comfortable working with data and deriving conclusions from it. Strong quantitative background - financial modelling, data generation/analysis, TradFi research experience preferred.
  • A passion for the markets & technology - Research experience (preferred) across multiple asset classes such as FX, rates, credit, equities, commodities, and crypto. Proven ability to analyze large data sets and draw useful commercial conclusions.
  • A stellar learner - Outstanding collegiate academic record with superior problem-solving and analytical capabilities (Bachelors or Masters in a scientific or quantitative discipline), self-driven quality and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines with uncompromised integrity and a clean personal record. A CFA or FRM designation is not required, but it would be nice to have that designation.
  • A global thinker - You must be current on macro and micro market topics across TradFi, crypto and related technologies and be able to clearly and easily articulate your view points in your research reports.
  • A challenge taker - Your confidence is balanced by a sense of humility and enjoy working as part of a global high-performance team.
  • A team player - Ability to work collaboratively with global members of the institutions team and the cross-functional teams within OKGroup.
Responsibilities:
  1. Produce institutional quality research reports periodically. Content may include: macroeconomics, financial market products, regulations, financial infrastructure in crypto or thematic insight reports on particular verticals or events.
  2. Produce adhoc financial product analysis for institutional clients.
  3. Identify, monitor and perform research on crypto and traditional companies that are the leaders, enablers, and beneficiaries of the disruptive crypto asset innovation.
  4. At times, present your bespoke/impactful research reports to clients, senior management or internal groups.
