The Opportunity
The Solana Foundation is seeking a Head of Owned Media to lead and scale our owned media presence. In this role, youâll be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, campaigns, and content that drive engagement, grow our online community, and amplify the Solana ecosystem on a global stage.
What Youâll Do
Lead owned media strategy â Design and execute a holistic content and channel strategy across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters, blogs, and emerging platforms, aligned with the Foundationâs mission and objectives.
Be the point of contact â Act as the lead for social and owned media in Foundation campaigns, ecosystem launches, and partner announcements.
Create and commission content â Collaborate with internal teams, ecosystem contributors, and external creatives to produce high-impact content such as threads, explainers, video, blog posts, and newsletters.
Elevate Solanaâs narrative â Partner with comms, product marketing, and internal stakeholders to shape messaging frameworks and editorial content. Provide guidance on social best practices.
Highlight the ecosystem â Showcase and support projects and contributors across the Solana community through Foundation-owned channels.
Optimize with data â Own analytics across all channels. Define KPIs, build dashboards, and apply insights to continuously improve performance.
Stay ahead of trends â Monitor emerging platforms, tools, and best practices to keep Solana at the forefront of social media.

Proven content leadership â 3+ years of experience executing across multiple channels in social, content, or digital marketing, ideally in a high-growth or high-visibility environment.
Crypto-native curiosity â Youâre chronically online (by choice), with strong taste and awareness of cryptotwitter (CT), tech, finance, and media trends.
Breadth and depth â Comfortable context-switching between institutional content, community memes, and everything in between.
