This role will involve building a marketing control framework supported by policies and procedures, developing review and approval processes, and working closely with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Assurance teams to ensure marketing communications and initiatives comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in marketing lifecycle governance, from ideation through execution and post-campaign review. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking compliance leader who can balance regulatory rigor with business enablement in a fast-paced, high-growth environment   What You’ll Be Doing

Lead a marketing compliance function and scale up the team.

Design and implement a scalable global compliance framework supported by policies and procedures governing marketing and external communications, including advertising, promotions, social media, and product launch communications.

Develop and maintain marketing compliance policies and procedures tailored to the unique risks associated with both CeFi and DeFi offerings.

Work closely with Legal, Central and Entity Compliance teams to define and operationalize a review and approval process for marketing and product communications, ensuring timely and compliant go-to-market execution.

In collaboration with the Assurance team, establish a monitoring and testing programme for post-campaign compliance reviews (including social media and engagement with influencers) and lookbacks to assess adherence to marketing standards

Track, report, and remediate non-compliance incidents or issues arising from marketing activities.

Monitor global regulatory developments relevant to crypto marketing and advertising. Proactively assess and implement required changes to the marketing compliance program based on regulatory updates.

Partner with Product, Legal, Risk, Central Compliance and Marketing teams to ensure all product launch communications and campaigns are fully compliant with global regulations and company policies.

Support the business in making decisions while considering regulatory risks and compliance obligations.

Develop materials to improve understanding of compliance and regulatory risks across teams and deliver regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions.

  What We Look For

Experience as a lead in compliance, legal, or marketing compliance roles, ideally within financial services or fintech.

Ability to multi-task and work in a high-paced environment.

Deep understanding of marketing regulations and standards across key jurisdictions (e.g., US, UK, EU, APAC).

Experience in crypto, blockchain, or digital assets, with strong familiarity with both CeFi and DeFi ecosystems.

Proven ability to design and implement compliance frameworks and controls from scratch.

Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills across global and cross-functional teams.

Experience engaging with regulatory bodies or supporting regulatory audits or exams.

Prior experience in a high-growth tech or startup environment.
