We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our Data team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating dashboards, conducting comprehensive data analysis, and developing and refining key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with the Delivery team to assess performance from multiple perspectives. Your primary focus will be to harness data from both Jira and GitHub, transforming it into actionable insights for Delivery managers across the organisation.

You will work under the guidance of Ludovic Tavernier, Principal Data Visualisation Engineer at Ledger, Tableau Ambassador 2024, and former Tableau IronViz finalist. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills data modeling and data visualisation and benefit from his expertise.

Your mission

    • Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineering and delivery team to connect and integrate data from various sources, most notably Jira and Github.
    • Business Intelligence Development: Design and develop Tableau dashboards  to enable efficient data analysis and reporting.
    • KPI Generation: Define, build and analyze Key Performance Indicators to measure the success and performance of projects. 
    • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract valuable insights, trends, and patterns. 
    • Documentation: Document data sources, processes, and BI solutions to ensure clarity and transparency.

What we're looking for

    • 6 to 12 months experience in Data
    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
    • Fluent English
    • Strong SQL Skills 
    • Understanding of Jira and Github platforms is a plus
    • Knowledge of Data Visualization Tools. Tableau is a plus 
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
    • Knowledge of Python is a plus
