Who we are

Game7 a permissionless, modular Web3 gaming ecosystem for both players and developers. We solve the three most critical challenges facing Web3 gaming: infrastructure, distribution and sustained player engagement. We do this through a modular set of core Web3 primitives that take any game from zero to market.

Game7’s mission is to redefine today’s unsustainable gaming ecosystem by harnessing the transformative power of Web3. Game7 provides a way to redistribute wealth, influence and creativity within games.

We’re looking for the next generation of leaders and doers who have a passion for crypto and are looking to influence the future of DAOs, DeFi, Web3 and GameFi. If you’re a self-starter and believe in autonomy and ownership, then we encourage you to apply for this role.

About this team

Game7’s Operations Team approaches its work through the lens of decentralization, and makes every effort to provide Game7 team members an environment free from the bureaucracy that defines typical organizations. We absorb all the challenges of basic business functions to allow each member of the organization to focus on their crafts and perform their most satisfying work. A spirit of experimentation, innovation, and extreme collaboration is thriving at Game7, and the Operations team performs its work with intent to foster and preserve that culture.

Your craft

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator and Process Designer to join the Operations Team. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our software tools and systems. You will be responsible for their configuration and functionality, access and security, monitoring costs, and assessing upgrades and new implementations.

  • Security Awareness: You have experience with preventing security risks, spotting them as they arise, and responding to active threats.

  • Proactive Oversight: You will be responsible for a large library of software tools to manage the status, access by team members, and costs incurred for all of them.

  • Process Improvement: You have experience implementing workflows to optimize team performance and outputs.

  • Automation and Integrations: You are familiar with automation and integration tools and using them to improve workflows between software systems. You may also have a background with formulas or coding to enable some functions.

  • Software Champion: You love to dive into software tools, both standard and emerging tech, and dig into every feature and setting they have. You are creative in leveraging the capabilities of each tool to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Team Collaboration and Communication: You will need to work with our teams to understand their needs and provide solutions and configurations that enable their work. You will be the point of contact for all of our teams with regard to tools, seats/licenses, troubleshooting, or requests for configuration updates.

If you think you have valuable experience to bring to the organization, but don’t necessarily meet all of the criteria for the role, we still want to hear from you. We consider all applications.

Why work with us?

We do things a little differently here at Game7, as you’d expect from the blockchain. We promise a culture of flexibility, autonomy, and the freedom to contribute to the wider Web3 ecosystem.

Also: a fully remote working environment. Our compensation packages are reflective of the experience and value you bring to the organization and individual projects.

  • Base pay USDC, paid monthly

  • Work Supplies, HW & Home Office Equipment

  • Co-working space or home office-related expenses

  • Any learning or education materials related to work

  • Travel related expenses that are related to work

  • Any expenses related to food and entertainment for work

  • Any expenses related to both physical or mental health and well-being

We’re committed to fostering a progressive work environment that’s centered on forgiveness, empathy, belonging, and psychological well-being. Game7 is an equal opportunities workplace that doesn’t discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age disability, veteran status, genetic information, marital status, or any other legally protected status.
