What we are looking for… as an Exchange Relationship Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between Keyrock and a wide variety of cryptocurrency exchanges and ECNs. You will be responsible for managing existing relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring seamless collaboration to optimize our trading operations. Your role will be pivotal in strengthening our position in the crypto trading ecosystem and enabling us to maximize trading efficiency and profitability.

Job Description:

Relationship Management:

• Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with cryptocurrency exchanges and brokerage platforms, both centralized and decentralized.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for exchanges to address inquiries, resolve issues, and facilitate effective communication.

• Negotiate fee structures, incentives, and strategic partnerships to maximize benefits for the company.

Operational Oversight:

• Oversee exchange account management, including account creation, API integrations and work with our KYC/AML teams

• Monitor exchange performance metrics, including latency, uptime, and liquidity, to ensure optimal trading conditions.

• Coordinate with internal teams (traders, developers, and compliance officers) to address exchange-related needs and requirements.

Strategy & Growth:

• Identify and onboard new exchanges to expand the company’s trading ecosystem and market reach.

• Collaborate with the trading team to identify opportunities for improving liquidity provision and market-making activities.

• Stay informed about new features, product launches, and updates from exchanges and provide recommendations for their integration into our operations.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare regular reports on exchange-related activities, performance, and key metrics.

• Analyze trends in exchange policies, competition, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.

Background and experience

• Profound understanding, on an institutional level, of cryptocurrency trading, exchanges, tokens, and blockchain technology.

• Proven track record in managing high-stake relationships

• Excellent at negotiating deals that benefit all parties involved while safeguarding company interests.

• Ability to analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights.

• Comfortable with trading platforms, APIs, and the tech ecosystem surrounding digital asset trading.

• Familiarity with financial regulations in key markets, especially those pertaining to cryptocurrencies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly.
