The Role: Zeta Markets is looking for experienced backend developers to help build state of the art blockchain smart contracts/programs that facilitate trading. You will be responsible for delivering high quality code that keeps composability and safety top of mind. You will work in the Dev team and work closely with the Product team to take features from definition through to build and deployment.
Responsibilities: - Build and deploy high quality and performant Rust programs. - Write comprehensive tests for Rust programs. - Work with the broader development team to define the platform architecture. - Work with product and design teams to understand user requirements and translate this to technical solutions. - Reviewing code. - Helping projects integrate with Zeta.
Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of high-performance, low-level or distributed system development experience. - Experience architecting technical solutions and contributing to technical documentation.
Highly Desirable Qualifications: - A solid technical foundation/background is preferred. - Experience building trading systems. - Experience developing Solana programs or smart contracts on other blockchain programs. - Experience developing in Rust. - Experience developing in JavaScript/TypeScript - Familiarity with Blockchain and crypto.
