- Visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos for digital collectibles and more. Youâll be shaping the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more.
- Tell compelling stories through graphics about METALABS and its offerings in line with the overall brand development strategy and core values.
- You should be able to capture the attention of the target audience and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.
- Creating character design with wearables, rarity assets, and environments.
- Work closely with marketing and design team on conceptualization and execution of NFT design.
- Designing digital assets related to the project for web, social media, and newsletter.
- Youâll be asked to do a range of creative work from faster, âsmallerâ pieces to âbiggerâ builds for the METALABS brand.
- Work within a dynamic team structure comprising of other NFT experts, helping to support and deliver on our core community and NFT launches and campaigns.
- Be up to date with current design trends, always looking for new ways to bring the METALABS brand to life.
- Stay informed of all the latest developments within the NFT industry.
- Must be able to mediate creative problems to arrive at the best solution.
- Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design.
- Study design briefs and determine requirements.
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.
- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design.
- Amend designs after feedback.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.Â
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and idea.
- Accuracy both in terms of grammar and information and timing for ideal information intake.
- Proofreading.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Understands layering very well specifically the random generation of layers that occurs with NFT Art.
- 4 years freelance or in design agency. Strong portfolio needed.
- Experience in Blockchain, NFT, Metaverse, Crypto Projects.
- Has a demonstrable passion for making creative content on a spectrum of media platforms - social, streaming, AR, music, film, interactive, etc.
- Strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of software (Photoshop, InDesign, illustrator, adobe creative suite).
- An understanding of crypto art and NFT culture.
- Min. 6 months of experience designing NFTs.
- Passion for digital storytelling.
- Understands the intersection of culture and technology.
- Hands-on with all the tools and techniques needed to create NFTs.
- Previous experience or familiarity with NFT projects.
