Seedworld Studios is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Game Security Engineer to join our innovative UGC platform in the gaming industry. We are looking for a passionate technologist with a keen eye for vulnerabilities and the ability to instill best practices across both code and infrastructure. This role reports directly to the CISO and collaborates closely with the Technical Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the security of the Seedworld UGC platform.
Conduct thorough technical assessments and develop threat models.
Provide security expertise to developers and engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
Integrate and automate security tools and services to streamline processes.
Work with product and infrastructure teams from development through deployment.
Stay updated on industry threats and raise security awareness within the team.
Requirements:
5+ years in Game Security or similar roles.
Ability to think like an attacker and identify vulnerabilities.
Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) best practices.
Deep understanding of application architectures and design principles.
Expertise in identifying and mitigating relevant attack vectors, such as those in the OWASP Top 10.
Experience with C++, Unreal Engine 5, and Blueprints.
Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CDP, GSSP, or similar.
Proficient in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
Perforce Helix Core, Perforce Swarm, Epic Online Store Authentication System
Familiarity with EVM Smart Contracts.
