Champions Ascension and Plai Labs are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team to create games involving NFT technologies within our Bogota-based studio. Our team is focused on building PlaiLab’s AAA, multi-platform online Web3 Game: Champions Ascension.

Responsibilities

    • Implement, configure, manage and automate cloud infrastructure and deployments.
    • Work with Senior leadership to establish and enforce good architectural standards.
    • Work with a team to build large scale data services and backend systems.
    • Debug issues in production environments across multiple levels of the tech stack.
    • Pragmatic approach to ensure the player experience is optimized
    • Collaborate with our central technology team to create game services to help support blockchain-backed game creation.
    • Definition, implementation, and continuous optimization of our CI/CD pipeline.
    • Build and design monitoring and alert systems for our systems.
    • Continuously evaluate industry best practices and suggest improvements for the DevOps team.

Qualifications

    • 4+ Years of experience with Linux-based Servers Administration and Support
    • High level of fluency with and experience using technologies like (but not limited to): Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Docker, Spanner, BigTable, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, SQS, S3, Lambda, Redis, - or deep experience with relevant transferable technologies.
    • Proven experience working with large-medium server infrastructure, with a focus on automation, scalability and security.
    • Ability to work iteratively.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with Automation CI/CD.

    • Passion for automation
    • A good sense of humor is a definite plus.
    • Exposure to microservice development.
    • Exposure to Cloud development (AWS/GCP) and Continuous Integration/Delivery environments (CI/CD)
