Sawhorse Interactive is searching for a Marketing Coordinator to join our mission of building a leading studio that pushes the boundaries of immersive experience gameplay.
Looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to support and traffic for branded custom-built UGC metaverse game/experiences and extend the reach of our brand partners across social and digital channels. The primary focus is Roblox but the role will grow into all top platforms in the metaverse and web3 space. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing deliverables for the marketing department as the company continues to build best-in-class experiences for world-famous brands. Knowledge of all major UGC gaming and metaverse platforms is key.
This position requires a strong strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, a track record of organization and ownership, and a passion for gaming and emerging media.
Responsibilities
- Execute and manage multiple 360 marketing campaigns across various channels
- Take ownership by tracking and coordinating marketing deliverables for multiple campaigns and ensure deadlines are met
- Create and own marketing trackers and materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Partner with teams in Marketing, Creative, and Production to drive alignment between asset development and performance marketing strategy
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and influencers, and coordinate marketing efforts with cross-functional internal teams
- Conduct market research to gather data for campaigns and pitches
- Be a disciplined self-starter excited to market and promote games/experiences for new platforms
- Assist in creating pitch decks and present marketing plans to clients and stakeholders. Proficient in Google Slides. Photoshop, Keynote and InDesign
- Stay up to date with industry trends, gaming culture, and emerging media, particularly in relation to Roblox and the metaverse
A strong candidate for this position should have the following qualities:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous internship experience
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Advertising, Marketing, Entertainment or a related field
- Strong and professional writing skill set
- Ability to anticipate needs and the organizational skills necessary to keep processes in place and evolving.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with the demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple projects and work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects based on deadlines
- Proficient in social media and digital media
- Knowledge of the gaming industry, gaming culture, and Roblox is highly desired
- Enthusiasm for emerging media, technology, and the metaverse
- Agency experience highly preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of the Roblox and Fortnite community expectations
- Intermediate knowledge of web3 platforms
- Experience with digital fashion on Roblox, Zepeto, Decentraland, or similar avatar platforms
This position is generally M-F 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (PST), and will start with a freelance probation period of 90 days, and then move to full time if everyone is aligned.
