Your Role

As a Smart Contract Developer (EVM), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable smart contract architectures for DeFi applications on EVM-compatible chains. You will focus on building core DeFi features like staking, fund-raising systems (e.g., auctions, bonding curves), and token mechanisms, while ensuring robust security and scalability. Your role will involve collaborating closely with front-end engineers to integrate blockchain functionalities seamlessly into Web3 applications, delivering cutting-edge solutions within the fast-evolving decentralized finance landscape.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Smart Contract Design & Implementation:

  Design and implement secure, scalable smart contract architectures for core DeFi functionalities (staking, fundraising systems, token mechanisms), delivering at least two fully audited smart contract systems within the first 6 months.

• Integration with Front-End:

  Collaborate with front-end engineers to integrate smart contracts into user-facing applications, ensuring seamless interactions and functionality for key DeFi features within 6 months.

• Testing & Auditing:

  Perform comprehensive testing and auditing of smart contracts using frameworks like Foundry, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities before deployment. Ensure at least one successful audit is completed within 3 months.

• Technical Expertise in DeFi:

  Provide in-depth technical guidance on staking mechanisms, fundraising systems, and other innovative DeFi functionalities, contributing to the design and implementation of secure and user-friendly systems.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions, ensuring seamless integration from concept to production.

• Issue Resolution & Uptime Management:

  Proactively address issues related to smart contract functionality or integration, ensuring 99% uptime and seamless operation in live production environments.

2. Who We’re Looking For

• Proven Expertise: Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying smart contracts on EVM-compatible chains, with a strong understanding of upgradable and factory contract patterns.

• DeFi Specialist: Demonstrated expertise in building DeFi mechanisms such as staking, auctions, bonding curves, and liquidity systems.

• Secure Development Practices: Solid experience in smart contract testing, auditing, and security analysis to ensure the integrity and reliability of code.

• Optional Knowledge: Familiarity with Solana program architecture is a plus but not required.

• Team Player: Strong collaborative skills, working effectively with front-end engineers and other key stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

4. Technical Knowledge

• Smart Contract Development: Expertise in Solidity and Foundry, with in-depth knowledge of upgradable and factory contract patterns.

• DeFi Mechanisms: Advanced understanding of staking, auctions, bonding curves, and related financial constructs in the decentralized finance ecosystem.

• Blockchain Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of EVM-compatible chains, gas optimization techniques, and standard token protocols (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155).

• Front-End Integration: Familiarity with how smart contracts integrate with front-end applications, and the ability to collaborate with front-end engineers for seamless integration.

• Testing & Auditing: Proficiency in using frameworks like Foundry or similar tools for thorough testing, debugging, and auditing of smart contracts.

• Optional: Familiarity with Solana program architecture and integration.
