Test Automation Lead
Responsibilities
- Lead the Test Automation team and its strategy for Flipster’s mobile and web applications.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable test automation frameworks.
- Ensure test coverage across key business flows, including regression, integration, and performance tests.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, product, and design teams to expand automated test coverage as features mature.
- Define and track quality-related automation metrics, using data to continuously improve test effectiveness.
- Coach and support test automation engineers to deliver maintainable and efficient test code.
- Align test automation efforts with engineering and product release goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation engineering.
- Deep understanding of test automation’s role in the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Appium, Selenium, and Python-based frameworks.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
- Proven experience leading or managing test automation engineers or teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
Preferred
- Experience working in a fintech or crypto-related product team.
- Understanding of mobile and web application architecture.
- Passion for improving engineering velocity through automation.
- Ability to define and evolve test automation strategies for complex systems.
- Professional working proficiency in Korean. (written and spoken)
