About Paxos Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it. We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like PayPal, Venmo, Mastercard and Interactive Brokers. About the team The Compliance team plays a vital role in ensuring Paxos adheres to global regulatory standards across financial products and services. This team tackles complex challenges such as AML, sanctions, and transaction monitoring, all while ensuring a robust compliance framework in a rapidly evolving crypto and fintech landscape. By safeguarding Paxos against regulatory risks, the team is essential in helping the company achieve its mission of creating a more transparent and efficient financial ecosystem. About the role As a Quality Control and Testing Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the integrity of Paxos' compliance programs, focusing on regulatory reporting (SARs/STRs), testing, and risk mitigation. You will address challenges such as improving QC processes, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, and leading initiatives to streamline reporting workflows. This role plays a critical part in maintaining Paxos’ regulatory standing and contributing to the company’s long-term operational success. What you'll do

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps in QC processes and develop remediation plans. Own the execution of quality control and testing initiatives across various compliance functions. Drive process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance. Work closely with senior stakeholders and compliance leadership to ensure alignment on risk management strategies.
About you
4-5+ years of experience in compliance, focusing on BSA/AML, sanctions, and regulatory reporting. Proven track record in leading QC programs and developing testing frameworks. Experience working with SARs/STRs and regulatory audits. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data tools like Google Suite and Looker. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Demonstrated experience in identifying process inefficiencies and implementing solutions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal While we do not require prior work in the fintech, crypto, or blockchain industries, candidates must demonstrate an aptitude for the space and show they can quickly understand our processes.
