Senior Web3 Quality Assurance QA Engineer

About the role:

We are looking for a motivated and highly-talented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team on a full-time, 3-month contract ($6,600/month). You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products and creating automated testing environments. You will work closely with our development team to identify and fix issues and help establish best practices for end-to-end testing.

VTVL is a multi-chain platform building better tools to empower web3 founders and investors - starting with token management. Our mission is to be the force-multiplier for wealth creation and ownership in web3.

What you’ll do:

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases and test scripts for our software products
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that our products meet the required quality standards
  • Create and maintain automated testing environments to improve testing efficiency
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Work independently to achieve testing goals, including communicating and escalating issues to appropriate stakeholders when needed.
What we’re looking for

  • At least 7+ years of experience performing software-related testing, preferably in a web3 environment
  • Experience with web3 end-to-end testing with Chrome extensions such as Metamask
  • Experience in one or more testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai or Puppeteer
  • Experience with setting up Github Actions and Husky
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining automated testing environments using industry-standard tools
  • Experience with blockchain technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Experience working with smart contract unit testing
  • Experience with end-to-end testing with Selenium/Cypress
