ZTX is a web3 virtual world empowering creators and communities. Founded in 2022, ZTX is the joint blockchain initiative of Jump Crypto and ZEPETO — the largest avatar social network in Asia with over 400 million lifetime users.

Building with mass adoption in mind, we are creating a 3D open world with varying levels of gamification integrated as well as opportunities for users to monetize via ownership of digital assets and social interaction. Our goal is to empower creators and communities to build, play, and earn — a world where users of all backgrounds can chart their journeys into a world beyond the physical.

We are looking for a skilled QA Lead, adept at both hands-on testing and proficiently leading a small QA team, whose mission is to define and elevate ZTX's quality standards. The candidate should not be afraid of the hands-on work required and should be comfortable with owning QA operation with little structure. The role will be responsible for hiring and leading senior QA professionals, and will ultimately be responsible for helping ZTX build QA from the ground up. What you would be doing:

• Build and lead the QA initiative for ZTX, with a hands-on test approach, ensuring ZTX’s quality standard and building the structure as they go
• Lead effort to build appropriate systems, tools, and techniques for QA to perform in sync with the development team
• Produce long-term resource plans and execute against them
• Evaluate and optimize testing efforts, implement changes as needed
• Develop a QA framework that empowers teams to be held accountable for upholding quality and minimizing the negative player impact
• Conduct requirements gathering, risk identification, and reporting on all associated risks to the product
• Drive all test development activities such as estimation, planning, execution, reporting, etc
• Hire and mentor test professionals to provide a clear career path

What we look for in a candidate:

• Passion for games with a commitment to quality
  • Passion for web3.0 a plus (but not needed)

• 5+ years of game industry experience in QA
• Minimum 1+ years of leading QA professionals
• Passion for building QA pipelines from the ground up
• Experience in test planning for complex features/systems
  • Blockchain testing is a plus (but not necessary)
• Flexibility and team-oriented mindset with a heavy focus on collaboration among different teams

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Unity 3D (over Unreal)
• Passion for web3 and familiarity with the crypto ecosystem (DeFi, NFTs, identity)
• If you had worked in a full-remote startup environment
• If you speak and write in Korean (but not necessary)
