(Sr.) Blockchain QA Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Assist in system testing of new applications and existing software to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Perform regression testing of new applications and existing software enhancements to identify any possible impacts caused by changes.
- Assist in maintaining and managing manual or automated scripts and test databases.
- Design, write, execute, and maintain tests for web application and platform APIs.
- Evaluate specification, requirements, and technical design documents to provide prompt and valuable feedback.
- Record test results and follow up with fault report cases, cooperating closely with related engineers.
- Assist in the verification and evidence of reproduction of any reported faults in existing software.
- Ensure all work produced meets customer requirements before being released for internal approval.
- Ensure all work meets the guidelines and standards defined for the team and the company.
- Involve in the development stage and stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements and Skills:
- Experience in a variety of testing types, including Application Testing, System Testing, Mobile Testing, and Web-based Testing.
- At least 3 years of QA experience and at least 1 year of experience in blockchain testing.
- Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Knowledge about different types of testing methods, including Function, Integration, Regression, Stress, and API testing.
- Experience using testing tools such as Jmeter, Fiddler, Postman, Chrome console, etc.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing faults and bugs found.
