Scope of the role

Responsibilities:

  • Greenfield development of significant new features to a high-quality code base
  • Taking requirements from management, sales, quants and traders, and following full software cycle: analysing, implementing, testing, releasing and supporting
  • Initially to work on exchange trading connectivity and in time: algo trading, pricing and hedging, and latency optimisations
  • Part of a highly experienced 5-man development team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years commercial experience in Java development of front office trading systems
  • Clean and efficient coding >
  • Self-starter, confident and driven
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of the team
  • Eager to learn, attention to detail
  • Experienced in a selection of low pause GC techniques in Java
  • Experienced in the use of FIX, REST, Websockets and ideally Python
  • Knowledgeable in electronic market making, algo trading, low latency / high frequency trading, market data, order management and routing, crypto / FX / derivatives trading
