The Kaizen Labs

One of the main strategic pillars of Kaizen Gaming is continuous improvement. Based on this pillar, Kaizen Labs product vertical was created with two main goals:

• Enhance our current product development efforts, aiming for both short- and mid-term tangible results;

• Constantly monitor new technological opportunities and experiment with most promising ones.

In order to achieve the above goals, Kaizen Labs will utilize open innovation frameworks and run programs with external partners (eg. agencies, universities, innovation centers) and startups such as corporate incubators, corporate accelerators and external POCs creation.

The Role

The Design team creates all the magic that our customers experience in our products and services and plays a key role in our competitive advantage and success. The Senior Product Designer is partnering with technology teams in producing high quality design.

Responsibilities

• Consult Kaizen Lab’s director in every decision-making process that requires brand and design expertise to ensure it enhances the overall user experience of Kaizen Labs' products;

• Lead and work on design projects from concept to completion, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines and budgets;

• Collaborate with internal and external partners, including external agencies, internal product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation of KL’s design strategies;

• Foster a culture of innovation across Kaizen Gaming by co-organizing internal creative workshops and external meetups;

• Look for new technological/design trends and experiment with the most promising ones;

• Challenge the status quo and improve the team and product;

• Contribute to research that helps solve problems and drives successful, user-oriented design decisions;

• Use your passion and expertise to ensure all UX designs are efficient & user-friendly;

• Produce, present and review high-resolution designs with internal team members and client personnel, and incorporate design feedback;

• Prepare design artifacts for user testing and participate in the sessions by capturing feedback from users;

• Annotate design deliverables to ensure the design intent is clearly communicated to the development team and that there is a sufficient level of detail provided to support the implementation process;

• Build simple and complex components to ensure product consistency and scalability;

• Collaborate with front-end engineers to make sure design components are reflected into code.

Must have

• Proven experience in any similar design role, with a minimum of 3-5 years of design experience, preferably in the iGaming sector;

• Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or other relevant design software;

• Passion for innovation and experimentation in design, with a keen eye for emerging design trends and technologies;

• Ability to work in a non-pre-set and constantly changing environment based on technological changes and opportunities.

• Embrace positive change, learn quickly, and respond in an agile and flexible manner.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related field;

• Mixed reality UX understanding (AR/VR - XR);

• 3D design capabilities and, ideally, experience in game engines such as Unity/Unreal;

• Experience with Web 3.0 technologies, such as NFTs and smart contract programming languages.
