Every day we interact with technologies controlled by a handful of large companies whose interests and incentives often conflict with our own. If we want the benefits of using their proprietary apps, we’re forced to agree to terms that most of us will never read, granting these companies far-reaching control over our digital lives.
At the same time, progress in open-source and decentralized technologies like blockchain has shown that we can build systems that prioritize individual sovereignty over centralized control. With these new technologies, there’s no need to trust any third parties not to be or become evil.
Parity Technologies is a team of the world’s premiere blockchain developers building industry-leading technologies that enable developers, startups, and enterprises to create this next wave of better products and services. You’ll join at a critical moment when the future of the decentralized web is being shaped, and perform an influential role in making a more equitable society for our future.

Is SEO a high paying job?
According to various salary reports, as of my knowledge cut-off in June 2023, SEO specialists in the United States might earn anywhere from $40,000 to $70,000 annually at the mid-level, with senior or specialized roles potentially reaching into six figures
These numbers can vary widely based on the aforementioned factors
SEO can be a well-paying field, but the salary for an SEO job can vary widely based on several factors, including the individual's experience, specialization, location, the size and industry of the employer, and the specific responsibilities of the role
For example:
- Entry-Level Positions: Those just starting in SEO may find that the initial salaries are more modest, reflecting the need for on-the-job training and experience building.
- Mid-Level and Experienced Professionals: With several years of experience and a track record of success in improving search rankings, an SEO professional can command a higher salary. Specializing in a particular aspect of SEO, such as technical SEO or link-building, can also increase earning potential.
- Management Roles: Those who move into leadership or management roles within SEO, overseeing teams, and developing strategy, can earn significantly higher salaries.
- Location: Salaries for SEO roles can vary based on geographic location, reflecting the cost of living and demand for SEO expertise in a given area. Generally, working in larger cities or tech hubs may offer higher pay.
- Freelance and Consulting Opportunities: SEO professionals who work as freelancers or consultants may have the potential to earn more, especially if they can build a strong client base. However, this path may also include additional uncertainties and responsibilities, like finding clients and managing a business.
- Industry and Company Size: Working in certain industries or for larger companies may result in higher salaries due to the greater resources and revenue potential associated with effective SEO.
- Performance Bonuses and Incentives: In some roles, compensation may be tied to performance metrics, such as improvements in search rankings, organic traffic growth, or other KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Achieving or exceeding these targets may lead to bonuses or other financial incentives.
