They are backed by some of the leading investors in the crypto space such as Electric Capital, Jump Capital, Race Capital, Wintermute and many more. The team previously built Zeta Markets, a leading perps DEX which facilitated over $15B in trading volume in 2025. They are looking to redefine the trading experience on Solana with Bullet, which boasts 3ms trade execution latency, thousands of TPS and a full featured perps and spot DEX.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a world-class Infrastructure Engineer with strong Rust expertise to build and maintain the platform that powers our high-performance exchange. You will develop critical Rust microservices and APIs that power our exchange backend. You'll also design and manage the underlying infrastructure, ensuring high uptime, exceptional performance, and comprehensive observability across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain critical Rust applications: indexer, oracle, funding rate and liquidation keeper bots.
• Build REST and websocket APIs using Axum/Tungstenite and contribute to Rust SDK development for trading clients.
• Design and manage scalable infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments using Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters with GitOps workflows (FluxCD).
• Develop infrastructure tooling and automation in Rust to optimize deployment and operations.
• Design networking architecture to support ultra-low latency and high throughput requirements.
• Improve our comprehensive observability stack (Grafana, OpenTelemetry, metrics, logging, tracing).
• Manage data infrastructure including Kafka streaming pipelines and ClickHouse databases.
• Ensure as close to 24/7 uptime and reliability for all critical systems as possible.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional Rust development experience.
• 4+ years in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Strong experience with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Hands-on Kubernetes administration at scale.
• Deep understanding of GitOps principles and practices.
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, load balancing, DNS, network security).
• AWS experience; multi-cloud or hybrid cloud/on-premises experience preferred.
• Proficiency with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Good grasp of cloud security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kafka and ClickHouse.
• API development with Axum or similar Rust web frameworks.
• Familiarity with exchange infrastructure (margin, liquidation, risk systems, oracle feeds).
• Knowledge of Solana and experience building keeper bots/cranks.
• Experience with performance profiling tools (pprof, pyroscope, flamegraphs).
• Background building SDKs or client libraries.
