About SevenLabs
SevenLabs is a software development company focused on building projects on Solana. We work with companies to develop tools, programs, and applications. Our goal is to help teams create useful and scalable solutions that make the most of what Solana has to offer.
We’re also dedicated to open-source development and maintain Carbon, a framework for indexing data on Solana. Our work helps teams and developers get the data they need to build their projects.
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build user‑facing and backend applications that run on, and interact with, Solana. You’ll write both TypeScript and Rust, develop web front ends, design APIs, write Solana programs, and contribute to our Solana indexing infrastructure. The role is hands‑on and collaborative—you’ll work closely with other engineers, founders, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full‑stack applications.
- Write clean, efficient TypeScript for web front ends and APIs.
- Develop and maintain Rust programs when required.
- Integrate with Solana indexing pipelines and Carbon‑based data services.
- Work closely with founders and clients to scope and prioritize tasks.
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve engineering practices
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in the Solana ecosystem.
- Strong TypeScript skills and familiarity with Next.js.
- Experience designing and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Experience writing Solana programs with Anchor.
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
- Clear, concise communication in written and spoken English.
- Sense of technical ownership and the ability to defend and challenge decisions constructively.
Nice-To-Have
- Proven open‑source contributions, especially in the Solana ecosystem.
- Active involvement in the Solana dev community.
- EVM experience for interoperability and bridging.
Why Work With SevenLabs?
- Work on meaningful open-source and client projects in the Solana space.
- Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
- Support for equipment and resources you need to perform at your best.
What does an Solana developer do?
As a Solana developer, your responsibilities would include designing, implementing, and maintaining applications on the Solana blockchain platform using Rust programming language
This would involve using the Solana software development kit (SDK) to write smart contracts and build decentralized applications (dApps) that make use of the platform's features and capabilities
You would also be responsible for ensuring that your dApps are secure, efficient, and scalable, and for testing and debugging your code to ensure its correct behavior
Additionally, you may be involved in the ongoing development and improvement of the Solana platform itself, working with other members of the Solana community to drive innovation and advance the state of blockchain technology.
