About ABC Labs: We believe access to stable money is a human right. Almost two billion people around the world don't have a safe place to store their money or are excluded from financial services such as payments and credit. Struggles with inflationary currencies prevent families and communities from building basic economic security. To help solve this, we created the Reserve Protocol, a free, permissionless platform on the Ethereum mainnet and Base L2 to build, deploy and govern asset-backed currencies referred to as “RTokens.” RTokens are always 1:1 asset-backed, allowing for permissionless minting and redeeming on-chain by users without the need for any middlemen. RTokens are over-collateralized and by default governed independently by RSR stakers in a fully decentralized manner. More information on our mission and the people behind it can be found here.Role Summary: Our accounting team consists of a Head of Finance and an Accounting Manager. You’ll report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with the Head of Finance. Your primary responsibilities will include tracking and reconciling transactions, starting with ordinary banking transactions, and growing into stablecoin and volatility cryptocurrency transactions over time. If you are DeFi-savvy or DeFi-curious, you may have the opportunity to learn the nuances of DeFi accounting, including working with Cryptio and/or other DeFi accounting platforms, but this is not part of your role as it’s already owned by our Accounting Manager. Our accounting team is responsible for the books and records of two corporate entities, and on an annual basis, compiles together records from several other entities for consolidated tax filing purposes. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting Solid understanding of accounting, broad knowledge of GAAP One year of experience with transaction tracking and reconciliation Strong internal motivation to get the details right and do things the right way An analytical mind with good organizational skills A strong command of the English language
