Nosana is a Blockchain-based open-source cloud computing marketplace dedicated to AI Inference. Our mission is simple: make GPU hardware accessible to all. The platform has two main goals: providing AI users with flexible GPU access and allowing GPU owners to earn passive income by renting out their hardware, all powered by the $NOS token.

As the Node.js Developer, you'll play a critical role in building the infrastructure for the peer-to-peer network and helping solve technical challenges related to large distributed systems with nodes all over the world. This is a core position within our growing team, reporting to the Lead Distributed Systems Engineer. This is a remote position within Europe, however you must be a tax resident within the UK or The Netherlands.
What you'll do:
- Build and implement the core systems that power our decentralized network.
- Solve critical challenges related to distributed systems, smart contracts, and encryption.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Teach your colleagues new skills, through code review, discussions and mentoring.
- Work asynchronously with a talented, remote-first team.
- Champion a culture of experimentation and innovation.
Your Background:
- Proven experience writing unit tests
- Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- While a background in Solana Blockchain and encryption is a plus, your core competencies truly matter.

- Think big, start small, and demonstrate unit tests you have written.
- Analyze and help solve the technical challenges of building a distributed consumer GPU network.
- Share code from an project that showcases your problem-solving approach and technical expertise.
- Showcase experience with asynchronous working practices, including documentation skills, process improvement and tools organization.
- Proficient in Remote Work team environments, with honed virtual communications and collaboration skills.
