About Aurory: Aurory is a next-generation studio with over 50 team members, many of which are gaming industry veterans who’ve worked on AAA titles for studios like Ubisoft, EA, Warner Bros, and more.

Our flagship game, Seekers of Tokane is a free-to-play, roguelite, RPG, where players explore diverse landscapes as they battle, collect, and trade magical creatures called Nefties, which exist as NFTs on the Solana blockchain.

About The Position: We are seeking a Social Media Manager with a passion for video games and crypto culture to be the voice of the Aurory brand across relevant social platforms. This role will be responsible for crafting and executing engaging content strategies, fostering community engagement, and showcasing exciting project updates and features in a way that captures the imagination of our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and post engaging content multiple times a week on X/Twitter.
• Develop and manage a consistent posting schedule for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook (1-2 posts per week).
• Create witty, informative, and engaging memes and other forms of content that aligns with Aurory's brand voice while maintaining professionalism.
• Present new features and product updates in a creative and compelling manner to drive community interest and engagement.
• Monitor trends in gaming, crypto, and pop culture to create timely, relevant content.
• Engage with our community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to build a loyal and active audience.
• Identify and build relationships with influencers and content creators in the gaming and crypto space.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
• Create memes, short videos, and graphics (experience with video editing or Photoshop is a big plus!).
• Track social media performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications:

• Passion for video games, crypto culture, and tech.
• Ability to take initiative, find creative solutions, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of humor with a knack for being witty and playful while maintaining professionalism.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills to present product updates and features effectively.
• Foundational knowledge of marketing, social media, and community building across various platforms.
• Experience with video editing or graphic design tools is a strong plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• This is freelance/contract-based role that offers a competitive, full-time monthly salary (based on candidate's qualifications and previous experience) paid in USDC.
