Community Manager (Contract) - Canada Wide - Remote
Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Auditing all of Newton’s current social media channels and activities and identifying opportunities to improve engagement
- Creating and managing the online voice of Newton and ensuring that its tone is consistent across all channels
- Developing and executing a social calendar to increase engagement, reach, and awareness of Newton, its products, and community
- Interacting with our community on a daily basis to ensure they feel heard
- Aggregating and distilling feedback from our community into an actionable set of actions and improvements to influence our product roadmap and increase the positive perception of Newton and its products
- Collaborating with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure new product launches and special programs are amplified via social media
- Working directly with the compliance team to ensure all communications are appropriate and respect policies and bylaws as defined by regulators
Stretch opportunities to have increased impact include:
- Managing paid social media campaigns
- Being subject matter expert on market trends in the crypto and web3 space
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of social media and community management
- A deep understanding of social media channels including, but not limited to, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, and Reddit
- Expertise in new social media trends and best practices
- Hands on experience developing and executing social media strategies on behalf of high growth brands
- Familiarity with interpreting social media and website analytics and translating them into social media content opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and capable of multitasking
- Capable of managing communications and setting expectations cross-functionally
- Copywriting skills and SEO experience are considered strong assets
