We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Chapter Lead to join the BabyDoge team!
About the Role
As the Frontend Chapter Lead, you will be the central technical leader and mentor for all frontend initiatives across our engineering teams. You will be responsible for defining and enforcing frontend standards, enabling knowledge sharing, and supporting engineers in delivering high-performance, scalable, and user-centric applications. This role is ideal for a hands-on frontend leader who is passionate about modern web technologies, particularly Vue and React, and who understands the complexities of building blockchain-integrated products in a fast-paced environment.
Summary of Major Duties
- Define, evolve, and maintain frontend architecture, standards, and best practices
- Perform R&D and develop PoCs for new tech and product concepts
- Lead code reviews and maintain frontend code quality
- Mentor and support frontend engineers in technical and career growth
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure frontend alignment with product and company goals
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
- Own and evolve a unified frontend strategy across multiple products
- Design and validate scalable architecture for high-load applications with blockchain elements
- Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and workflows
- Drive improvements in performance, UX, and security
- Hands-on contribution to codebase, ensuring technical excellence by example
Team Enablement:
- Lead regular chapter meetings, workshops, and frontend-specific knowledge sharing
- Develop training paths and help onboard junior developers
- Act as a bridge between frontend teams and the wider engineering/product organization
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Backend, Blockchain, QA, and Product Leads to ensure delivery alignment
- Contribute to strategic planning and prioritization from a frontend perspective
- Identify process gaps and implement changes for better team productivity
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- 2+ years in a leadership or mentorship role with 7+ engineers
- 2+ years of production experience with Vue and/or React
- Proven knowledge of blockchain frontend integrations (wallets, smart contracts, Web3 APIs)
- Experience handling multiple projects and stakeholder expectations
Skills:
- Strong technical communication and leadership skills
- Ability to translate product vision into technical execution
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture in distributed environments
- Competent in Agile development practices and remote team dynamics
- Hands-on and solution-oriented approach
Preferred Education & Background
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field (not mandatory)
- Experience in financial or Web3-related projects is a plus
