As we scale our operations and take on cutting-edge projects, we’re seeking a driven and resourceful Business Development Intern to join our fully remote team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to events at the forefront of emerging technologies.

The Role:

As a Business Development Intern, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping Miwa Events grow its client base and expand its presence in the tech, Web3, crypto, AI industries and beyond. You’ll engage with industry leaders, explore the latest trends, and support the development of strategies that align with the future of events in these exciting fields.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Industry Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and opportunities within the tech, Web3, and AI industries.
  • Lead Generation: Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, including startups, enterprises, and ecosystem partners in these sectors.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in creating tailored pitches and proposals that resonate with the unique needs of companies in the tech, Web3, and AI space.
  • Networking & Outreach: Help establish relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners in cutting-edge industries.
  • Content Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to develop industry-relevant materials, case studies, and thought leadership pieces.
  • CRM Management: Update and maintain the company’s CRM system to track leads, interactions, and conversion metrics.
  • Event Representation: Represent Miwa Events at tech-focused conferences, blockchain meetups, and AI expos to build relationships and promote our services.
Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Basic knowledge or experience in blockchain, Web3, crypto, or AI industries.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and networking skills.
    • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
    • Familiarity with tools like Discord, Telegram, or crypto wallets (e.g., MetaMask).
  • Preferred (Bonus Points):
    • Experience in events, marketing, sales or partnerships.
    • Previous involvement in Web3/crypto communities or projects.
    • Understanding of event production or marketing strategies in tech-driven industries.
    • Some software engineering skills.
