About Wildcat

Wildcat is an Ethereum protocol reinventing on-chain credit. Our V2 markets let borrowers spin up highly-customisable, fixed-rate, under- or even un-collateralised credit facilities—bridging traditional private-credit markets with DeFi liquidity so sophisticated actors can raise working capital, fund supply-chain finance and other real-world assets with speed and transparency. Borrowers set their own terms and cut out intermediaries, while lenders enjoy novel interest-rate and withdrawal mechanics. Built by and for seasoned market participants, Wildcat is committed to transforming credit markets through efficient, tailored, on-chain solutions.

Working for Wildcat

As Director, TradFi Credit Origination & Tokenisation, you will be the senior deal-maker who leverages traditional-finance networks to originate private-credit transactions—then guides their conversion into tokenised, on-chain markets via Wildcat.

You will drive growth by designing and implementing a comprehensive market-expansion strategy that positions Wildcat as the premier on-chain credit platform for TradFi players. Specifically, you will identify, build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing borrowers, lenders and partners; drive targeted outreach that puts Wildcat in front of priority TradFi counterparties, and convert the resulting market intelligence into actionable product and risk-framework enhancements.

Location: Prefer candidates based in major US hubs (NYC, Chicago) who can overlap with the team’s 9 a.m.–5 p.m. CET collaboration window.

Responsibilities

  • Origination & Pipeline Ownership (TradFi-First): Design and drive a global strategy that sources and tokenises high-quality instruments—working-capital, supply-chain, asset-backed and revenue-based loans alongside structured-credit tranches and tokenised equity/stock deals—from mid-market corporates, PE-backed portfolio companies and family-owned businesses, bringing that flow and involved parties onto wildcat.
  • Deal Sourcing & Relationship Management: Leverage your Rolodex of treasurers/CFOs, PE sponsors, private-credit funds, investment banks and market makers—plus family offices and other strategic partners to originate proprietary or sponsor-backed transactions and maintain a dynamic network of borrowers and lenders moving toward on-chain credit and tokenisation.
  • Foundational Team Builder: As Wildcat’s first dedicated TradFi hire, codify processes, create playbooks and mentor future joiners so the institutional-origination function scales smoothly.
  • Risk & Governance: Establish guidelines and define tooling that let borrowers and lenders structure deals to institutional standards. Define monitoring frameworks that external counterparties can adopt or build upon, ensuring TradFi-grade risk controls with DeFi-grade transparency—while Wildcat remains the neutral infrastructure provider.
Requirements

  •  Minimum 5+ years’ experience in private credit, leveraged finance, investment banking or direct lending.
  • Demonstrated originations network across North-American and European private-credit markets.
  •  A deep, global network of corporate treasurers, credit funds, family offices, market makers, advisors and intermediaries.
  • Expertise across working‑capital, supply‑chain, asset‑backed and revenue‑based lending; fluency in cash‑flow analysis, covenant structures and credit documentation.
  • DeFi curiosity and tokenisation know‑how. Ability to explain how tokenisation can improve liquidity, efficiency and transparency and how real‑world asset lending is growing on‑ chains.
  • Regulatory fluency in US securities frameworks (SEC Reg D/Reg S, Investment Company Act) and EU directives (MiFID II, AIFMD) in addition to MiCA.
  • Data‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset with high emotional quotient. Capable of working autonomously in a remote, fast‑paced environment; comfortable bridging boardroom expectations and crypto culture.
What We Offer

  • Impact & Ownership – Shape the TradFi credit arm of a protocol that’s redefining private credit and disintermediating the traditional way of credit within traditional finance. Your work will directly grow TVL and influence Wildcat’s market position.
  • Cutting‑Edge Environment – Collaborate with a seasoned team of DeFi architects. You’ll work on tokenising real‑world assets at the frontier where private credit meets Web3.
  • Remote Flexibility – Work from anywhere with core hours aligned to Europe/Berlin. We prioritise autonomy and asynchronous collaboration.
  • Competitive Compensation – Receive a salary in crypto or fiat, plus meaningful equity upside. We also provide travel and conference budgets and support ongoing professional development.
  • Real Culture – Join a transparent, inclusive team that values initiative, curiosity and candour.
