What you’ll be responsible for:

Circle is looking for a passionate intern willing to learn and contribute to the Circle Impact goals of driving USDC utility value through financial inclusion, digital financial literacy and humanitarian aid. Your work will help us identify new opportunities to not only grow the business but also our global impact. This role will report to the Vice President of Circle Impact.

What you'll work on:

  • Researching and drafting a report cataloging USDC/Eurocoin wallets and use cases for remittances that identify new partnership opportunities and engagement paths.
  • Developing networking and stakeholder engagement skills under direction of more senior teammates.
  • Collaborating with key internal stakeholders to support research efforts.
  • Joining in person team meetings and contributing to strategy development.
  • Supporting any in-person Impact related events that happen during your tenure.
  • Contributing to the weekly update on news impacting our business.
  • Reviewing news, evolving trends and headlines to provide insight into the narrative around crypto and stablecoins and providing recommendations based on your findings.
  • Catalyzing digital financial literacy initiatives in partnership with leading academic institutions, think tanks and other organizations helping ensure the third generation of the internet leaves no community behind.
  • Supporting efforts to formalize a company-wide ESG+T framework, including key objectives, measurability and public reporting criteria together with key company leaders and stakeholders.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate level degree in a field related to Impact and Research or related field with a 3.5 GPA or better.
  • Insatiable appetite for learning and willingness to try new things.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Get-it-done attitude with ability to pivot fast, go with the flow and take on new challenges.
  • A deep interest in crypto and blockchain infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack and Apple MacOS preferred.

The compensation range below is specific to New York, NY. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
