Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's objectives and regulatory compliance.
    • Prepare financial reports, statements, and regulatory filings accurately and within specified timelines.
    • Monitor and manage liquidity, cash flow, and capital allocation to ensure optimal financial health.
    • Manage the procedures, process controls, and account management for the business capital funding and loan agreements.
    • Build and manage banking relationships for the business across local and international banks.
    • Perform financial analytical reviews, revenue and budget management, and business financial reporting with internal stakeholders.
    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
    • Conduct financial analysis, including profitability assessments, cost control evaluations, and performance metrics tracking.
    • Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and examinations.
    • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial processes to safeguard company assets.
    • Stay updated on cryptocurrency industry regulations and best practices for custody services.
    • Assess and manage financial risks and opportunities, proposing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
    • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by executive leadership.
    • Optimize financial systems, including accounting software and reporting tools, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of financial discipline, continuous improvement, and accountability.
    • Preparation of cash forecast and periodic review of actual vs forecasted numbers   
    • Identify the risks to the business and propose solutions to the management to  mitigate the risks. 

Requirements

    • Bachelor degree in accounting/finance/economic/business administration) is a must
    • Great knowledge of local accounting,( CIMA,ACCA/ ACA is a plus).
    • 6+ years experience in a relevant position in the financial or banking industry, fund management firms, trading firms, crypto firms, treasury/liquidity function or similar.
    • Familiar with local laws and regulations of the financial and trading industry.
    • Experienced and knowledgeable of accounting software, payroll procedures, and management systems
    • Independent, self-motivated, and have the spirit to expand the financial function of the business.
    • Advanced working knowledge of google sheet and  MS office
