Our mission is to support the company goals by providing the most scalable and secure infrastructure and testing/release tools (e.g. CI/CD and infrastructure automation). We are working closely with the production engineering team and support all other company departments and functions. You will join the DevOps Domain, which is part of the broader "Security and Infrastructure" ​Chapter.
Your mission
As an Engineer Manager for our DevOps Chapter, you will be responsible for setting the pace of our team, helping to prioritize and defining the team Roadmap and the long term strategy for our company IT infrastructure in collaboration with Product, Engineering and other relevant company functions, this involves:

The ownership of technical delivery

You are responsible for the squad's product delivery in terms of the efficiency, quality, and effective implementation as well as service operations of the technical deliverables

You ensure the squad is working on their technical vision

You support the security of our cloud infrastructure and services, driving business continuity, and real-time monitoring

You contribute to the design of a secure, scalable and robust infrastructure codebase

The ownership of talent development

You are responsible for supporting the people in the squad, including the Tech Owner

You conduct the performance enablement talks and ensures personal growth with the engineers

The ownership of the infrastructure development processes and infrastructure improvements
- You support and coach squads to improve their development processes

Supporting recruitment and squad staffing
- You plan for long-term competence need in the squad, aligned with budget

Your profile

You have a Bachelor’s Degree in computer or systems engineering related major or equivalent related work experience

You show strong Leadership skills with hands-on experience managing an agile team (Kanban), including regular coaching, and 1-1s etc.

You have a background in DevOps related practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and infrastructure as code (terraform)

You have experience with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, Azure (AWS preferred)

You have the ability to lead, coach and inspire cross-functional teams, ensuring that there are ongoing opportunities for learning and development
