The Global Business Services team is responsible for the expansion, optimization, and management of Crypto.com’s fiat payment products and loading channels around the world. When crypto.com expands into a new market, it’s the GBS team leading the efforts. The GBS team consists of the company’s country and regional GMs, Product Leaders, and a senior financial systems Project and Architectural team working all over the globe.


The Role:

You will be reporting to the Head of Global Payment Partnerships and you will be leading the effort to expand Crypto.com’s fiat payment on-ramps and off-ramps in emerging markets around the world. This candidate should have demonstrable experience in payment acceptance, including a proven-track record of working with relevant parties of the payment processing value-chain (card networks, acquiring/issuing banks, payment processors/gateways, etc.). The role will be focused on developing partnerships to support emerging markets across the world in Asia, LAC, Middle East and Africa with an emphasis on APAC expansion. The candidate should have experience in new market entry, financial services regulation and ability to work cross functionally across stakeholders to provide the strategy and assist in the design of our fiat capabilities in the emerging markets.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Leading Crypto.com’s loading channels in emerging markets across the world through the development of partnerships in market and cross-border. You will need to understand traditional and non-traditional payment services. This includes domestic card acquiring, bank to wallet, mobile payment, and global non-traditional purchase and loading channels.
  • You will be working with country leadership to Identify opportunities and develop partnerships to improve the customer fiat loading experience by reducing friction or enabling access through traditional and new pay-in and pay-out networks by leveraging your current and future payment networks globally.
  • Evaluate the loading experiences for crypto.com’s customers, including new/alternative payment methods evaluations, changes in acceptance trends that could impact the paying experience online and must have general awareness of the payments industry.
  • Apply your data driven mindset, technical background and UX approach and to create the best possible experience for the end customers.
  • Building of successful relationships throughout the company across all functions and jurisdictions, persuasion and influencing of others to negotiate solutions, communicate complex information to all levels across the business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, MBA preferred
  • 8 + years of experience in a similar role
  • Self-starter and takes end-to-end ownership of your projects with little direction.
  • Highly experienced with the major network acquiring solutions and processes, from an acceptance, process, risk, and enablement standpoint.
  • Experienced in global payment purchasing and loading networks.
  • Experience in local and global non-traditional payment products.
  • Be open to non-traditional working hours as you will be supporting multiple markets across time-zones.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communicational skills with an analytical mindset and high work ethic.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to evolving responsibilities related to keeping pace with shifting market requirements.
